Tropical Storm Dalila Strengthens
Tropical Storm Dalila strengthens to sustained wind speeds of 70 mph with higher gusts as it moves further away from Mexico’s coastline.
The storm is 180 miles west southwest of Manzanillo Mexico as of Monday evening, moving at 6 mph. Any tropical storm warnings or watches have been discontinued, however storm-force winds may extend up to 80 miles from the center of the storm.
Over the next few days, Dalila is expected to turn gradually more west with a minor decrease in forward speed. It is still projected that the storm will become a hurricane on Tuesday, July 2.
